Playa del Carmen located in the state of Quintana Roo, is a combination of nature with urbanism. It is well known for its turquoise waters, for the Fifth Avenue (located one block from the sea), for its nightclubs and for being the top 3 as one of many tourist destinations in the state. We are giving you some recommendation of places to visit in this beautiful city.

Museum of Wonders 3D. - A different but fun option if you want to take a break from the beach and the sun. This place offers you illustrations that create optical illusions. Visitors or spectators can be part of these pieces of art, taking photos, from certain angles, which allow observe or create the effect that the visitor is inside a picture or take part of some bizarre scene, challenging the mind.

Coco Bongo. Located near Fifth Avenue, on North 12th Street, on the corner of North 10th Avenue. In this nightclub, you can enjoy a musical show with professional dancers and acrobats, colorful costumes and amazing light and sound effects. Your admission includes this show, national drinks and a snack. The place has waiters to make you feel more comfortable.

Río Secreto. It is a protected nature reserve, to swim and explore underground rivers and impressive limestone caves, with formations known as stalactites and stalactites as well. It is worth going at least once in your life and discovering this wonderful place. The tour includes a life jacket and an ecotourist guide. We recommend, for the protection of this ecosystem, not to use makeup or sunscreen.

The Fifth Avenue. It is not about a place, but an entire avenue, just one block from the sea. You can find many restaurants, boutiques, hotels, coffee shops, ice cream parlors, craft and jewelry stores, among more types of shops to do your shopping and take home the most original item you find. There is also a Catholic chapel called Capilla de Nuestra Señora del Carmen, the maritime terminal to take the ferry to Cozumel; and the ADO bus terminal, to be able to travel to other places of interest such as Tulum, Puerto Morelos, Cancun among other cities and towns inside and outside the state of Quintana Roo.
