Do not miss this top 5 to do in Cancun

Cancun is internationally recognized for having beautiful sunny beaches. In addition to sun and beach, you can find other options to have a wonderful vacation, enjoy a weekend or simply have some leisure time.

We recommend 5 activities that you can do if you are visiting Cancun or if you already live in the city.

1. Mirador Beach

Cancun has several beaches; such as: Playa Las Perlas, Playa Langosta, Playa Tortugas, Playa Delfines, Playa Chac Mool, Playa Ballenas, Playa Coral (El Mirador II), Playa Marlín and Playa del Niño.

The Mirador beach, located in Playa Delfines, is among the favorites, since the emblematic letters of "CANCÚN" are found there, where children and adults take a souvenir photo; in addition to taking panoramic views due to this spot has got a great view of the Caribbean waters.

Some of these beaches are ideal for children, others for swimming and some with stronger waves, for surfing.

You can also practice other water sports such as: kayaking, diving, snorkeling, windsurfing, kitesurfing, water skiing, flyboarding and SUP (Stand Up Paddle).

You can look for some options of certified local providers to opt for any of these activities.

Most of the beaches are Blue Flag certified, which guarantees the safety of the environment and the people who work and spend their time there.

It is important to protect the ecosystem, keeping the natural areas clean for the present and future enjoyment of them, as well as personal protection. Therefore, we recommend that you follow the instructions of the lifeguards, be alert to the marine currents that may be in the sea, and pay attention to the signs of the place. Avoid eating food before going into the sea or inside the sea. You must wait a minimum of 30 minutes before getting into the sea in case you have eaten something.
